New Moon Sauna was founded in 2023 by Dan Kapernick. With two decades of experience working in the building and remodeling trades, his love of sauna, commitment to sustainability, and dedication to craftsmanship led him to start building saunas for friends and family in their homes and backyards. Dan leads the team in design, construction, and sales. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, bikepacking, tennis, and camping with his wife and two kids.
